The Tamaqua Area Adult Day Care Center board of directors met recently.

After a favorable review of our financial health, the center is looking forward to spring activities highlighted by celebrating Saint Patrick’s Day and Easter.

The center’s clients will be making shamrocks and coloring Easter eggs along with tons of other activities.

The center’s staff recently completed the Healthy Steps in Motion Program. They will continue the exercises learned and expect to restart the program in July.

The center’s Adult Day Care clients are provided with a nutrition packed breakfast and lunch plus additional snacks. Clients can participate in sing-alongs, socializing, trivia, games, bingo or simply enjoy a relaxing free time watching TV or reading under the watchful eye of our qualified staff. Hairdressing service is available on Mondays.

The center does not follow the Tamaqua School District snow day closing. The center will go by bus providers STS & LANTA. All clients and caregivers will be called by 6 a.m. regarding weather closings.
