State police at Lehighton

State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following:

• A 41-year-old Kunkletown woman reported a theft by deception/identity theft incident at 6:54 p.m. Jan. 24 at a property on Douglas Lane in Lower Towamensing Township.

Police said an unknown actor gained access to her Walmart online account.

• Police were summoned to a burglary that was reported at 10:55 a.m. Feb. 27 at a residence under construction at 111 Scenic Drive, Polk Township.

Richard Ratti, 66, of Rockville, Tennessee, reported various tools, construction equipment and an electric stove were removed from the residence.

• Two women were cited for harassment by physical contact after a physical altercation involving a dog bite happened at 12:49 a.m. Feb. 29 at a property on Scenic Drive, Polk Township.

A 51-year-old from Stroudsburg and a 61-year-old from Kunkletown were cited.

Police said when the two women were engaged in a fight, a dog inside the residence was provoked and bit one of the women in the face and feet.

• A 41-year-old Saylorsburg woman is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 1:09 a.m. March 3 on Route 209 in Hamilton Township.

Police said she was stopped in a 2023 GMC Terrain for a Motor Vehicle Code violation.
