March 11, 2011 - Northern Lehigh’s Aimee Oertner and Sonya Josephson both outscore their opponent as the Bulldogs cruise to a 62-18 victory over Bishop McDevitt in the first round of the PIAA Class 2A state playoffs. Oertner collects 17 of her game-high 28 points in the opening quarter as the Bulldogs, who shoot 11-of-18 from the floor in the period, race to a 28-4 advantage. Josephson finishes with 20 points, including five at the end of the third quarter that puts Nolehi up by 42. The Bulldogs, coached by Dave Oertner, also receive seven points from Tina Bastardi and seven assists from Lauren Oertner.
