Julian D. Jackson, 30, of White Haven, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after a crash at 3 p.m. on March 4 on Susquehanna Boulevard, near the intersection with Laurel Mall Drive in Hazle Township.

Police said he was driving a 2011 Chrysler 200 that “rear-ended” a 2016 Honda Accord driven by Michelle M. Genetti, 57, of Sugarloaf, who had slowed for a red light. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Police said Genetti was transported by personnel from American Patient Transport Systems Inc. to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton, to be treated for suspected minor injuries.

Jackson and two passengers in the Chrysler were uninjured, police said.
