Summit Hill Police Chief Todd Woodward has released the following:

• Joanna Sue Stauffer, 36, of 122 E. Fell St., Summit Hill, was charged on Feb. 15 with conspiracy to commit burglary, receiving stolen property and criminal trespass.

Woodward said the charges relate to a burglary that happened on Nov. 17, 2023, at a residence at on East White Street in the borough. He said Stauffer, a caretaker for a resident in the home, entered the home while the resident was not home and conspired with a co-defendant, Logan Loveless, who was previously charged, to commit the crimes.

Stauffer was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Beth Dodson and was released on $25,000 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 13.

• Hailo Nichols, 24, of North Greenwood Street, Tamaqua, was charged with harassment for allegedly punching an adult male victim in the face as a result of a domestic disturbance outside of a residence located at 207 E. McMurtrie St., Summit Hill, on Feb. 12.

• Richard Yturrino, 20, of the 400 block of Mahoning Street, Lehighton, was charged with criminal trespass, endangering the welfare of children, defiant trespass, disorderly conduct and harassment as a result of an incident at a residence at on the 100 block of East Ludlow Street.

Woodward said Yturrino was advised multiple times to not enter the residence but he entered it, shoved a resident and took a child from his/her mother before fleeing in a vehicle. The chief said Yturrino was stopped by police a short distance away, was taken into custody and was transported to the Carbon County Correctional Facility, Nesquehoning.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 13.
