Peter and Paul’s of Lansford in the finals of the CYO Shaughnessy playoffs. Mickey Pascoe scores three points to start a 10-0 run in the second quarter that extends a narrow one-point advantage to double digits. The lead swells to 15 before a Lansford rally comes up short. Pascoe finishes with 12 points for St. Joseph’s, coached by Charlie O’Donnell, as does teammate Joe Perilli. Mike Karnish collects 18 points in a losing effort.
