ArtsQuest announces two more headliners for Musikfest

ArtsQuest has announced two more musical groups who will grace the stage during this year’s Musikfest events.

Black Eyed Peas, the Los Angeles trio, will perform on Aug. 8; while Greta Van Fleet will open the festival on preview night, Aug. 1.

Ticket for both concerts go on sale at 10 a.m. March 8 at Musikfest.org. Gates to the Wind Creek Steel Stage open at 6 p.m. and the shows begin at 7:30 p.m.

Black Eyed Peas

Over the 25 years, Black Eyed Peas - will.i.am, Apl.de.Ap, and Taboo - have earned six GRAMMY Awards and achieved sales of $35 million (albums) and $120 million (singles).

One of the era’s biggest acts, they emerged as “the second best-selling artist/group of all-time for downloaded tracks,” (Nielsen), landing on Billboard’s “Hot 100 Artists of the Decade.”

Their eighth studio album, 2020’s TRANSLATION achieved staggering success, featuring collaborations with J Balvin, Ozuna, Maluma, Shakira, Nicky Jam and Tyga.

In 2022, the band reunited with Shakira and David Guetta for “Don’t You Worry,” the first single from their ninth studio album ELEVATION, swiftly followed by Anitta and El Alfa collab. “Simply The Best, Bailar Contigo” with Daddy Yankee in 2023.

Greta Van Fleet

Formed in Frankenmuth, Michigan in 2012, Greta Van Fleet consists of three brothers - vocalist Josh Kiszka, guitarist Jake Kiszka and bassist/keyboardist Sam Kiszka, as well as drummer Danny Wagner.

Together they have performed across multiple continents, sold over 3.5 million records and one million tickets worldwide and performed on late night television shows such as “Saturday Night Live,” “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

Their From The Fires EP, released in 2017, won Best Rock Album at the 61st Grammy Awards, and their critically acclaimed sophomore album The Battle at Garden’s Gate, released in 2021, debuted at #1 Billboard Rock Album, #1 Billboard Hard Rock Album, #1 Billboard Vinyl Album, #2 Billboard Top Album Sales and in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200.

Musikfest

Musikfest is slated to feature hundreds of performances across 16 stages throughout Bethlehem. It will take place from Aug. 2-11 with a preview night on Aug. 1.
