State police at Lehighton

State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following:

• A 48-year-old Lansford man and a 38-year-old man from New York, New York, were cited for harassment by communication after police responded to a neighborhood dispute at 4:52 p.m. March 1 on East Bertsch Street in Lansford.

• Daniele F. Amato, 49, of Orwigsburg, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 12:34 p.m. March 1 on the Little Gap Road in Lower Towamensing Township.

She and a passenger, Jeffrey B. Farro, 52, of Pottsville, were uninjured.

Police said she was driving a 2022 Plymouth in the area of 1720 Little Gap Road when she lost control of the vehicle while legally passing an other traffic unit and the vehicle struck a rock wall.

• A 49-year-old Palmerton was cited for harassment by communication after police responded to a boyfriend/girlfriend dispute at 8 a.m. Feb. 28 on Pine Street in Lower Towamensing Township.

Police said a 41-year-old Palmerton woman who told them the man pushed her and slapped her in the back of the head.

• A 55-year-old Weissport man is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance after police were called to 435 White St., Weissport, at 12:36 a.m. Feb. 28.

Police said they were contacted by a representative of the Carbon County Adult Probation office who reported the man was in possession of drugs while they conducted a house visit at the above location.

• Police said a 52-year-old Weissport man is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after they stopped a vehicle at 11:34 a.m. Feb. 27.

Police said they stopped him in a 2005 Chevrolet Impala during a regulatory checkpoint on Bridge Street in Weissport.

• Police are investigating a burglary reported at 12:40 a.m. Feb. 26 at 2491 Cherry Hill Road, Lower Towamensing Township.

Police said a 49-year-old Slatington man told them the residence at that location was unoccupied for two weeks, during which time unknown actors burglarized 10 garages on site.

Police said the victim was asked to compile a list of items that were stolen in the break-ins.

• A driver and passenger escaped injuries in a one-vehicle crash and rollover at 10:12 p.m. Feb. 18 on Spruce Hollow Road, Towamensing Township.

Police said a 17-year-old boy from Albrightsville was operating the 2010 Nissan Versa when he lost control of it while negotiating a right curve in the roadway. The vehicle left the road and struck a tree before rolling over.

The driver was cited for the crash.

A 16-year-old boy from Kunkletown was a passenger in the vehicle.

• Police said they were asked to look into an issue a Lehighton man was having with the transfer of a title to a 2008 Honda Element.

The man arrived at the barracks at 4:09 p.m. Feb. 15 to report the issue. Police said their investigation determined the mileage of the vehicle was rolled back and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation would not issue a new title for the vehicle.
