Bethlehem

State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following:

• Blake W. Tuggle, 26, of Walnutport, was cited for retail theft after police were called to the Kracker Jax Country Store, Main Street, Washington Township, at 8:51 a.m. Feb. 24.

Police said the theft evolved into a disturbance outside the store after Tuggle was caught stealing a $7 breakfast sandwich.

• Matthew C. Romig, 26, of Allentown, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after a crash at 8:08 p.m. Feb. 24 at the intersection of West Main and Race streets in Bath.

Police said he was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze that turned onto West Main Street, crossing into the oncoming lane of travel, and striking the front of a 2016 Toyota 4-Runner operated by Sarah A. Sheckler, 37, of Palmerton.

No one was injured in the incident, police said.

Police said he was stopped at 10:54 a.m. Feb. 27 in the 700 block of Union Boulevard.

• A 28-year-old Lansford man is facing drug possession charges after a traffic stop police just before 9 a.m. Feb. 26 in the 4600 block of Route 100, Lowhill Township.

Police said he was driving a 2008 BMW that was stopped at the intersection of Lowhill Church Road. Police said the man had drugs and drug paraphernalia. Police said he was also driving while his license is suspended.
