Kidder Twp. could OK truck terminal today

The Kidder Township board of supervisors meet at 5:30 p.m. today at the township offices at #10 Lake Harmony Road.

Accoring to Linda Christman of Save Carbon County, the board will consider and perhaps adopt conditional approval for a third truck terminal in the township.

Christman said the truck terminal will be approximately 2 million square feet along Route 940. She said the terminal, if built, is expected to generate 466 car trips and 252 truck trips daily.

Christman said the terminal would be within 800 feet of Black Creek, which is rated a high-quality trout stream.
