Tamaqua Seniors

The Tamaqua Senior Citizens met on Feb. 15 with 22 members in attendance. The president opened the meeting with the reading “Yesterday.” Mike Trubilla, Mary Bittle, Pat Bednarik and Sarah Huber were added to the sick list.

The group meets every at 1 p.m. every Thursday at the Coaldale Complex. Anyone 55 and older is invited to attend.

Pastor Jim Williams will conduct the church service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Zion Church Lewistown Valley. Sunday school is scheduled for 9:30. Zion Men will meet this Saturday at 8 a.m. in Memorial Hall.

Calvary Lewistown

Pastor Leskowich will bring the message at the 10:30 a.m. worship service this Sunday in Calvary Evangelical UM Church, Lewistown Valley. Sunday school is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. Evening praise and worship at 7 p.m.

Wednesday Lenten service at Zion Church, Lewistown Valley. 7:15 p.m. hymn sing followed by the service.
