Kresge finishes with a double-double, scoring 20 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. He also adds four blocked shots. Hilliard collects 18 points, including seven down the stretch to seal the win. The Bears, the 11th seed coached by Ken Piontkowski, make 12-of-14 free throws in the final minutes to knock off the sixth-seeded Hornets. PV, which uses a 9-0 run to start the fourth quarter and take control, also receives eight points from both Nick Smull and Blair Meixsell.
