Bill Plasko scores 12 of his game-high 18 points in the third frame, when the Blue Raiders outscore their opponent 26-12 to take an eight-point lead. After the Spartans rally to within one point, Todd McLaughlin comes off the bench after Plasko is fouled and unable to stay in the game and hits both ends of a one-and-one to seal the win. Bob Boyle collects 17 points for Tamaqua, coached by Bob Fulton, while Joe Urenovitch adds a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
