Nesquehoning police, the Carbon District Attorney’s office, county detectives and Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a death of an infant on Rhume Street Thursday morning. Nesquehoning police Chief Michael Weaver said officers were dispatched to the scene around 10 a.m. He said no further information could be released at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
