A home was heavily damaged by fire Saturday afternoon in Mount Carbon. The fire was reported just after 1 p.m. at 716 S. Center street. Pottsville police were the first to arrive on scene confirming a working fire. All of Pottsville’s fire companies along with Mount Carbon and surrounding communities responded.
