Northern Lehigh rans its winning streak to five games with a win Friday over Moravian Academy.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Northern Lehigh

Northern Lehigh won its fifth straight game by cruising to a 56-19 Colonial League victory over Moravian Academy.

Katelyn Barthold outscored the Lions herself by finishing with a game-high 20 points. The Bulldogs, now 8-6 overall and 5-4 in the league, also received 19 points from Aubrey Pollard.

Moravian (4-8) received a team-high 12 points from Luna Lopez.

Blue Mtn.-Tamaqua

Blue Mountain used a balanced attack to turn back Tamaqua for a 43-35 Schuylkill League win.

Ruby Henninger, Kylie Conway and Emily Heydt each scored seven points for the Eagles (11-3), who have won seven in a row and remain in the hunt for the top spot in Division 1 at 6-1. Hailey Place and Lindsay Gibson both scored six points in the win.

Lorelei Plasha led the Blue Raiders (10-3, 4-3) with a game-high 16 points. Lauren Ligenza added seven points and 12 rebounds.

Parkland-Pleasant Valley

Madison Siggins scored a game-high 19 points and Parkland cruised to a 50-11 Eastern Pennsylvania Conference win over Pleasant Valley.

Siggins scored 10 points in the first quarter to help the Trojans (13-1) build a 19-4 lead. Sophie Frank added nine points, while Talia Zurinskas scored eight points.

Katelyn Honadel hit a pair of threes and had six points for the Bears (2-12).

Zaire Smaltz scored a game-high 20 points and Parkland powered past Pleasant Valley 69-43 in Eastern Pennsylvania Conference action.

Nick Coval added 14 points for the Trojans (10-3), who outscored Pleasant Valley 33-15 in the second half.

Dakoda Lucas hit six threes and had a team-high 18 points for the Bears (4-9).

The Bulldogs, who trailed by 10 at halftime, received a game-high 29 points - including five three-pointers - from Connor Simms. Kellen Bauer also collected 19 points.

Jackson Reid paced the Lions with 25 points, while Keeyan Miller ended with 16.

Nolehi dropped to 2-12 overall and 0-9 in the league, while Moravian moved to 4-9 and 3-7.
