State police at Bethlehem

State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following:

• A 52-year-old Germansville man is the victim of a theft by deception/credit-ATM card incident that police were called to at 6261 Hillside Road, Heidelberg Township.

Police said between Oct. 6-23 there were 65 unauthorized transactions made on the victim’s debit card totaling $2,182.09. They said all of the transactions were made in Seattle, Wash., on the man’s Wells Fargo card.

• A 16-year-old Schnecksville girl was charged with public drunkenness after police were called at 8:41 p.m. Dec. 30 to an establishment on Route 873 in North Whitehall Township.

Police said the manager of the business summoned them by reporting an intoxicated minor. She was located and charged accordingly, police said.

• A 30-year-old Slatington man is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after police were called to Locust Drive, North Whitehall Township, at 12:30 a.m. Nov. 27.

Police said they arrested him after responding to a report of an unconscious man in the driver’s seat of a Subaru Legacy.

• Sarah Kelsey, 53, of Lehighton, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 12:09 a.m. Dec. 15. It happened while she was operating a 2004 Toyota at the intersection of Second Street and Brodhead Avenue in Bethlehem.

•The Slatington Market Place, 8281 Route 873, Washington Township, has been cited by police for “false alarms/dialing devices.” Police said they were called there at 12:18 a.m. Dec. 20 when the burglar alarm sounded. Police said no signs of forced entry or any other signs of criminal activity were found.

Police this was the 18th such false alarm at the business within a 12-month period.

• Police were called to a reported domestic incident at a property on Old Orchard Court, Lynn Township, between midnight and 2:20 a.m. Nov. 23.

They said a 32-year-old New Tripoli man was charged. The victim was a 25-year-old woman.

Police said the investigation showed no altercation took place and both parties were heavily intoxicated.

• Police said a 77-year-old woman from New Tripoli had property stolen between 11:35 a.m. Nov. 14 and 9:33 a.m. Nov. 15 at a property on Herber Road, Lowhill Township.

They said three cans of paint, associated brushes, woman’s sweaters and a pair of sunglasses were stolen at the property. The estimated loss is $340.
