January 8, 2011 - Jordyn Homyak scores her 1,000th career point on a free throw in the first quarter as Lehighton gains a 35-29 victory over Panther Valley. Homyak enters the contest needing just three points to reach the milestone. The Indian senior hits two foul shots 21 seconds into the game and adds another with 4:56 left in the opening quarter to become the sixth female in school history to reach the coveted mark. Homyak, who ends with a game-high 17 points, also hits clutch free throws down the stretch to seal the win. The Panthers receive a team-high 10 points from Madison Blasko.
