Three people were injured, including one who was rescued from a third-floor window, in a fast-moving house fire Tuesday morning in Palo Alto. The fire was reported around 10 a.m. with entrapment at 501 W. Savory Street. When firefighters arrived there was heavy smoke and flames pouring from the house with one person, who was rescued, hanging out a third floor window. Officers immediately ordered a second alarm. Some of the fire hydrants were inoperable so a tanker task force was dispatched. Two people and a firefighter were injured and taken to a local hospital.
