Several people were injured in a two-car crash Thursday evening in Mahoning Township.

The crash occurred at 6 p.m. along Route 443 at the entrance to the Tractor Supply.

Members of the Mahoning Valley Fire Company worked to free the people from the wreckage.

The victims were treated at the scene by members of the Mahoning Valley ambulance and Lehighton paramedics.

At least one victim was flown to a trauma center.

Route 443 is closed to traffic. Mahoning township police are investigating the incident.
