The Colts, coached by Hugh “Wink” Gallagher, take a seven-point first quarter lead behind the scoring of Joe Petravage and Andy Seroka. The winners enjoy a 22-10 second period to widen the margin before Flip Flaim tallies 16 of his game-high 22 points in the third. Tom Bonner also connects for eight points as Marian finishes the frame with 35 points. Bonner ends the contest with 18 points, while Petravage collects 13. Seroka and Jack Pieracini both finish with 12.
