Nathan B. Strohl, 40, of Danielsville, was cited for “following too closely” after a crash at 3:39 p.m. Nov. 10 on the Route 8014 ramp of Interstate 78 in Bethlehem.

State police at the Belfast barracks said he was driving a 2023 GMC that struck the rear of a 2023 Mercedes-Benz driven by Dianne A. Mack, 68, of East Stroudsburg, who was stopped in the lane of travel awaiting traffic to pass.

Police said Mack sustained “possible injuries” and was transported by personnel from the Dewey Fire Co. No. 1 Ambulance to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus, Bethlehem.

The Mercedes had to be towed from the scene while the GMC was able to be driven from the scene, police said.
