State police at Frackville

State police at the Frackville barracks reported on the following:

• They said the driver of a vehicle that went off the roadway and struck a mailbox at 7:34 a.m. Nov. 7 fled the scene in an unknown direction.

It happened on Valley Road in Walker Township.

• A second hit-and-run incident happened at 2:11 p.m. Nov. 14 on Interstate 81 in Delano Township.

Police said an unknown vehicle struck a PennDOT arrow board on the east shoulder of the road, after which time the driver left the scene without reporting the incident.

• Police were summoned to a reckless endangerment incident that happened at 12:51 a.m. Oct. 25 on Interstate 81 in Mahanoy Township.

They said the operator of a 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle was observed driving in an erratic manner, passing vehicles on the shoulder of the road and in between vehicles.

Police said the motorcycle was abandoned near mile marker 120. The operator was not found. The motorcycle was towed from the scene.

• A 2015 Toyota Tacoma that was parked on the south side of Tyson Street in New Ringgold was struck by a vehicle whose driver fled the scene. It happened at noon Nov. 15, resulting in minor damages to the Tacoma.

• Seth Beattie, 31, of Shenandoah, was cited for harassment twice on Nov. 18 after police were called to a domestic incident at a property on Mount Olive Boulevard in West Mahanoy Township.

A 41-year-old woman from Shenandoah reported the incident at 6:46 and 8:10 a.m. on the above date.

• Police were called to a criminal mischief incident at 8:21 p.m. Nov. 17 at a property on Crystal Lane in Ryan Township. A 42-year-old woman from New Ringgold reported someone broke a window on her vehicle.
