Todd R. Mahady, 25, of Walnutport, was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed by state police at the Belfast barracks after a crash at 8:03 p.m. Oct. 21 on Route 33 in Palmer Township.

Police said he was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado southbound when he failed to slow for congestion on the roadway. The Silverado struck the rear of a 2020 Mercedes Benz driven by Chad A. Bubenick Jr., 45, of Bangor, pushing it into the rear of a 2010 Jeep Wrangler operated by a 17-year-old girl from Easton.

Police said Bubenick and a passenger with him, Amanda N. Getz, 39, of Bangor, were transported by personnel from the Suburban Ambulance to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus, Bethlehem. Mahady and the Easton girl were uninjured.
