State police at Bethlehem
State police at the Bethlehem barracks have issued news releases regarding incidents:
• Police said multiple juveniles were engaged in a fight at about 7 p.m. Oct. 2 at the Riverview Mobile Home Park, Cedar Street, North Whitehall Township.
They said three of the youths received citations for harassment by physical contact. They include a 14-year-old boy, 16-year-old boy and 15-year-old girl, all from Laurys Station. Police said the 15-year-old girl, the 16-year-old boy and an 11-year-old boy from Northampton were all identified as victims in the fight.
•Police charged Eddie Rodriguez, 64, of Allentown, with driving under the influence of alcohol. They said he was driving a 1991 Toyota at 8:27 p.m. Oct. 6 at the intersection of Main Street and Sand Spring Road in North Whitehall Township.
• Michael Cummings, 26, of Germansville, is facing criminal mischief charges after police were called to a domestic incident at 10:42 p.m. Oct. 26 at a property on Peters Road in Heidelberg Township.
Police said the victim is a 42-year-old woman from Germansville who related she and Cummings, who she identified as her boyfriend, were engaged in an argument. She said he left the residence and slashed the rear, driver’s side tire of her 2012 Chevrolet Sonic and left the scene.
Police said they made a traffic stop of a vehicle belonging to Cummings’ brother a short time afterward and located Cummings in the rear seat of the vehicle.
The damage is estimated at $150, police said.
•A woman was uninjured when her 2022 Kia Sportage struck a deer at 8:14 a.m. Oct. 28 on Sand Spring Road in North Whitehall Township.
Police said the woman, who they did not identify, was eastbound when the deer entered her lane of travel. The vehicle sustained disabling damages and needed to be towed from the scene.
