A limited number of Christmas trees remain available for adoption for this year’s Palmerton Christmas in the Park event.

The final adoption event will take place from 6-7 p.m. Monday in the foyer of Palmerton Borough Hall on Delaware Avenue.

The minimum donation for adoption is $45 and the trees will be offered on a first come, first serve basis and is limited to one tree per family or organization. Payments of cash or check (made out to Palmerton Holiday Lighting Committee) will be accepted.

The 11th Christmas in the Park event takes place in Palmerton Borough Park on Dec. 2 from noon to 5 p.m. with a rain date of Dec. 3. The trees will be available for decoration from noon on Nov. 19 and must be completed by Nov. 29. All instructions regarding the decorations will be handed out at time of adoption.
