State police at Bethlehem reported on area crashes:
• Amir Usman, 29, of Ozone Park, New York, was uninjured in a one-vehicle mishap at 8:58 a.m. Sept. 25 on Mauch Chunk Road in North Whitehall Township.
Police said he was driving a 2004 Toyota Tacoma that turned left from Old Post Road onto Mauch Chunk Road to travel southbound and was driving too fast for weather conditions. Police said the Tacoma skidded out of control, hitting an embankment on the right side of the road, which caused the vehicle to flip over and come to rest on its driver’s side.
The vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.
• Nashaliz M. Rodriguez, 18, of Allentown, sustained suspected minor injuries in a two-vehicle mishap at 9:18 a.m. Sept. 25 at the intersection of Mauch Chunk Road and Quarry Street in North Whitehall Township.
Police said she was transported by personnel from the Cetronia Ambulance Association to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
Police said she was driving a 2008 BMW northbound on Mauch Chunk Road when she failed to notice a 2002 Chevrolet Impala operated by Edward M. Temprovich Jr., 48, of Tamaqua, slow down due to another vehicle making a left turn. Police said the BMW “rear-ended” the Impala. Police said the BMW was towed from the scene while the Impala was able to be driven from the scene.
Temprovich was uninjured, police said.
Rodriguez was cited for following too closely.
