The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the deaths of two individuals who were found around 3:25 a.m. Oct. 10 in a wooded area near Ferndale Road in New Philadelphia.

Police said the two were pronounced deceased at 6 a.m. by the Schuylkill County Coroner’s Office.

Ferndale Road is approximately one mile east of Route 209.

Police said the investigation is ongoing. More information will be released as it becomes available.
