Wilkes University awarded more than 300 bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees during its summer commencement ceremony on Sept. 10. The event was held at the McHale Athletic Center in the Simms Center on Main, Wilkes-Barre.

Local students include: Kristine George of Palmerton received the Master of Science in Education degree in education. Justin Petersen of Palmerton received the Master of Science in Education degree in education. Molly Raelinski of Effort received the Master of Arts degree in creative writing. Kayla Sander of Palmerton received the Master of Science in Education degree in education.
