Mauch Chunk Lake Park will be holding the 17th Annual Heritage Festival this Saturday at the all-purpose field across from the beach area

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. There will be live bluegrass music entertainment throughout the day and evening beginning at 11 a.m.

Admission fee is $7 for adults and children 12 and under are free. Anyone holding a season pass will also be admitted for free.

Performers include Fiddle Tamers, Pat McGeehan & The Pocono Pickers, Texas Rose, Serene Green, Wood Flower, and Free Range Folk.

The festival is a perfect way to enjoy the beauty of the park at the beginning of the fall season.

There will be a variety of food vendors and plenty of crafters.

Bring a folding chair or blanket. Dogs must be leashed and alcohol is not permitted.
