Police said at 3:26 p.m. Monday, a 35-year-old man from West Hazleton, parked a commercial vehicle at the northbound side of the plaza, at 7-Eleven pump number 25, and prepaid $200 for diesel fuel.

Police said the man mistakenly provided the clerk the wrong pump number and the $200 was applied to pump No. 2, where someone fueled a while van with $111.24 worth of gas and left the plaza traveling northbound without paying for the fuel.
