Old Lady and its brand of honky-tonk rock ranks among the entertainment options coming to local and regional venues over the next couple of weeks.

The New Jersey band will play Mauch Chunk Opera House, also set to host The Velvet Stardust Rock Show. Elsewhere, The Mahoning Drive-In’s events include its latest Weekend of Terror and tribute to the late Paul Reubens.

Over in Allentown, country act Parker McCollum will perform at the PPL Center. Bethlehem’s Wind Creek Event Center, meanwhile, will host music and comedy shows.

• The Velvet Stardust Rock Show: 8 p.m. Sept. 9. Stage Stars Productions presents the event, with dancers engaging in a burlesque battle with the Velvet Stardust band. The show includes covers of acts such as ACDC, Heart and Elvis Presley.

• Old Lady, 7:30 p.m. Sept. 21. The band, a honky-tonk rock ‘n’ roll outfit from New Jersey, has spent a decade-plus playing basements, honky-tonks and nightclubs of the Mid-Atlantic and beyond. The act’s discography includes 2014’s “O.L.,” 2019’s “Old Lady” and 2021’s “Truck Stop Thrills.”

• Know Return, 7 p.m. Sept. 16. The Kansas tribute band, hailing from Philadelphia, performs the progressive-rock band’s hits and deep cuts. Know Return, named after Kansas’ 1977 album and song “Point of Know Return,” also performs a Styx set.

• Weekend of Terror VIII, 6 p.m. Sept. 15 and 16. Exhumed Films and the theater will present the event. The film lineup include 1973’s “The Exorcist: The Version You’ve Never Seen,” 1990s “The Exorcist III” and 1977’s “Ruby.” Showtime at sundown.

• A Tribute to Paul Reubens, 6 p.m. Sept. 17. The theater will screen 1992’s “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” featuring Reubens as vampire henchman Amilyn, and a mystery feature. Reubens, aka Pee-wee Herman, passed away from cancer on July 30. The theater will donate a portion of ticket sales to The American Cancer Society. Showtime at sundown.

• Parker McCollum, 7:30 p.m. Sept. 21. Born in Conroe, Texas, the singer-songwriter released his major-label debut “Gold Chain Cowboy” in 2021. The album yielded the country-radio No. 1s “Pretty Heart” and “To Be Loved By You.“

• Gin Blossoms and Sugar Ray, 6:30 p.m. Sept. 10. Gin Blossoms, formed in 1987 in Tempe, Arizona, scored 1990s hits such as “Hey Jealousy,” “Found Out About You” and “Follow You Down.” Formed in 1986 in Newport Beach, California, Sugar Ray scored late-1990s hits such as “Fly,” Every Morning” and “Someday.”

• Asking Alexandria, 7 p.m. Sept. 13. Formed in 2006, the English rock band recently released its eighth studio album “Where Do We Go From Here?” The Hu, a Mongolian folk-metal band formed in 2016, will also perform.

• Brett Young, 8 p.m. Sept. 14. Born in Anaheim, California, Young recently released his fourth studio album “Across the Sheets.” The singer has scored six No. 1 country-radio hits, including “In Case You Didn’t Know,” “Mercy” and “Lady.”

• Sam Morril, 7:30 p.m. Sept. 15. Hailing from New York City, Morril’s comedy specials include 2018’s “Positive Influence” and 2022’s “Same Time Tomorrow.”

• Chris Botti, 8 p.m. Sept. 16. Born in Portland, Oregon, the trumpeter/composer has released albums such as 2001’s “Night Sessions,” 2004’s “When I Fall in Love” and 2012’s “Impressions.” Botti will release his 11th studio album, “Vol. 1,” in October.

• Yes: Classic Tales of Yes, 8 p.m. Sept. 21. Formed in 1968 in London, the progressive-rock band scored hits such as “Roundabout,” “Owner Of A Lonely Heart” and “Love Will Find a Way.”

• Agnostic Front, 8 p.m. Sept. 9. Agnostic Front, a hard-core punk band formed in 1980 in New York City, released its 12th studio album in 2019. Murphy’s Law, Grade 2 and Regicide will also perform.

• 90s Rockfest, 8 p.m. Sept. 16. The lineup features: Lounge Fly, a Stone Temple Pilots tribute; Best of Foo, a Foo Fighters tribute; and Hashpipe, a Weezer tribute.
