Police respond to bomb threat

State police at Frackville, and the department’s K-9, responded to a bomb threat at 4:50 p.m. July 31 at the Turkey Hill Minit Mart, 120 S. Main St., Shenandoah.

Police said someone called the store from a blocked number and threatened to blow up something in the store before hanging up.

Police said the store and surrounding property was searched but nothing was found.
