Nesquehoning Borough Council, employees and their families, recreation commission and resident bakers will hold a bake sale at 9 a.m. on Friday at the borough office on West Catawissa St.

The sale is to raise money for a donation to the St. Joseph’s Center and will be presented to Joe Snedeker for his GoJoe26 bicycle ride to raise funds for the center.

In addition to baked goods, there will also be a basket raffled off by the recreation commission.

For those wishing to donate more, checks should be made payable to the St. Joseph’s Center and dropped off at the borough office.

Snedeker will stop in Nesquehoning during his ride on July 26. More details on time will be released closer to the date.
