The Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce awarded $500 scholarships to four high school seniors recently.

This year’s recipients are Christina Rabenold of Northampton High School, Aicha Salih of Northern Lehigh High School, William Gruen of Northwestern Lehigh High School, and Sierra Hohenshilt of Parkland High School.

Introduced in 2017, the Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Foundation was set to serve college-bound students living within the Greater Northern Lehigh school districts of Northern Lehigh, Northwestern Lehigh, Northampton Area, and Parkland.

“Each year, our board of directors reviews dozens of applications for the scholarship program, and each year, we are blown away at the caliber of students within our region,” said Kylie Adams-Weiss, of the Affiliated Chambers for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. “The selection process is always challenging, but our 2023 recipients are top notch and deserving of applause. We look forward to the great things they’ll do in their collegiate careers and as the great business and community leaders they are sure to be.”
