Guns, cash, 150 pounds of marijuana seized in Lynn Twp.

Three Lynn Township residents were arrested Thursday as part of an undercover drug investigation that netted a large amount of marijuana, guns and an undetermined amount of money.

Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin announced the arrests came after a lengthy investigation that involved the county’s Drug Task Force, the Allentown Police Department Vice Unit, acting as Special County Detectives, Pennsylvania State Police Special Emergency Response Team, Pennsylvania State Police, Troop M, Fogelsville, and the Colonial Regional Police K9 unit.

Martin said police confiscated 150 pounds of marijuana, two AR-15 style rifles, one of which is a ghost gun, two handguns, assorted marijuana and THC edibles and an undisclosed amount of cash.

Charged are:

• Dayman Ricardo Aponte, 19, two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, a felony; three counts each of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and simple possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

• Shawn Delgado, 26, one count of delivery of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver; two counts of simple possession of a controlled substance; one count of possession of drug paraphernalia; and one count of person not to possess a firearm, a felony.

• Bernadette Mari Cabrera, 24, one count each of delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, simple possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The trio, who all reside on the 9000 block of Red Road in the township, where the arrests and raid took place, were committed to the Lehigh County Prison, Allentown. Aponte is being held on $200,000 bail; Delgado, $100,000, and Cabrera, $50,000.

Martin said the investigation was the result of an ongoing investigation that included numerous undercover drug purchases at the Lynn Township home.
