Monroe County crashes

State police at Stroudsburg reported on ing crashes:

• Dorothy A. McGinley, 74, of Allentown, had minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 4:06 p.m. June 24 on Route 33 in Hamilton Township.

She was transported by personnel by the Wind Gap Ambulance Corps to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg in Bethlehem.

Police said she was driving a 2002 Toyota RAV4 southbound when its left rear suspension failed, causing the vehicle to go off the right shoulder, strike an embankment and overturning, coming to rest on its driver’s side door.

McGinley was extricated from the vehicle by mechanical means. The SUV was towed from the scene, police said.

• A 2019 Dodge Durango was towed from the scene of a crash at 2:44 p.m. June 26 on Route 33 in Hamilton Township.

Police said the driver of the vehicle told them she was northbound when she pulled over because of inclement weather. When she pulled back onto the highway, the Durango was struck by a 2019 Kenworth tractor trailer, whose operator told police he could not stop in time to avoid the collision.

No one was injured.

• Two vehicles had minor damages and were able to be driven from the scene of a mishap at 11:21 a.m. June 21 on Interstate 80 in Hamilton Township. No one was injured.

Police said it happened when two vehicles were on the Interstate 80 westbound ramp from Bartonsville. Police said a 2015 Ford Transit Connect slowed down due to heavy traffic flow and was struck from behind by a 2017 GMC Savanna.

Police did not identify the operators of the vehicles.
