Charter school wins Telly Award

Commonwealth Charter Academy, Pennsylvania’s premier and largest K through 12 public cyber charter school, announces that it has secured its first-ever Telly Award (Bronze) in the Online General-Education & Training category for its kindergarten video lesson, “Treehouse Time – Story Detective.”

“CCA is committed to delivering high-quality, engaging educational programs that bring learning to life for students,” said CCA President and CEO Thomas D. Longenecker. “This award is a testament to the talented and creative abilities of our in-house video team, as they develop best-in-class video content for thousands of students across Pennsylvania.”

Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards honor excellence in local, regional, cable television, and non-broadcast video, and showcase the best work created within television and across video for all screens.

For the last several years, CCA has been creating its own courses and curriculum to better serve students and families. As part of this process, the video team has produced thousands of videos for student lessons at all grade levels. By creating high-quality, immersive, and engaging video programming, CCA captures students’ attention and takes learning to a whole new level.
