Mahanoy City Police Department have charged a man with rape of a child.

Vincent A Colon, 33, of Mahanoy City has been arrested and committed to Schuylkill County Prison on $250,000 straight cash bail by Judge Anthony Kilker.

Colon is charged with rape of child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, aggravated indecent assault of a person less than 13 years old, indecent assault person less than 13 years of age, indecent exposure, corruption of minors and statutory sexual assault.

All charges stem from an incident within the borough on June 12.
