Bowmanstown Borough Council took the following action on Tuesday:

• Agreed to put the garbage bid specifications out to bid.

• Agreed to have Benesch prepare the Multimodal Transportation Fund Grant application for Lincoln Avenue. There is a $100 fee to apply, plus $700 in estimated engineering costs to prepare and submit the application.

• Granted Hearn Enterprise permission to park cars in the field aside of the borough post office for a seminar from 4-5:30 p.m. Sunday.

• Announced that an electronic recycling event will be held from 3-6 p.m. today at 411 Spring St. for borough residents only.
