State police at Stroudsburg

State police at Stroudsburg reported on several incidents:

• A person was cited for trespassing after they were summoned at 9:21 a.m. May 12 to Ertle Power Sports, 3492 Route 611, Hamilton Township.

Police said they received a report of an unconscious person in a vehicle and through their investigation learned the suspect entered a vehicle that was for sale on the vehicle lot to sleep.

• Police cited Prudent Associates Real Estate, Smithfield Township, with disorderly conduct after they were summoned at 9:37 a.m. May 17 to that location on Rimrock Drive for a false alarm.

Police said it was the fourth false alarm there since April 24.

• Police are investigating a corruption of minors case to which they were summoned at 5:47 p.m. April 18. Police were called to a property on Woods Way, Hamilton Township, where a 13-year-old girl told them she received text messages from someone identifying themselves as a 19-year-woman wanting financial gain in return for self nude photos.

• A 60-year-old Saylorsburg man reported a bad check incident at 11:10 a.m. May 23.

Police said they were called to a property on Storm Avenue, Chestnuthill Township, for the theft by deception case. The man told them he was given a bad check in the amount of $1,200 as payment by his supervisor.
