State police at Lehighton said a Kunkletown man had more than $2,000 stolen from him in a theft by deception case.

Daniel Kuehner, 33, reported to police on May 18 that an unknown person used his debit card to make cash-app transactions.

Police said Kuehner contacted officials at his bank who indicated the bank will refund Kuehner his money.
