Palmerton Borough Council approved the following last week:

• Road paving bid for the Delaware Avenue parking lot, and Avenues A & B, in the amount of $91,994, from Bracalente Construction Inc.

• Request of the Concourse Club to install concrete planters at the bandstand in the borough park.

• Considering letters of interest from sewage enforcement officers.

• Consider waiving the permit fee for street opening permit for sewer rehab.

• Permission for the Palmerton Police Department to attend the First Responders Expo from 5-8 p.m. June 22 at the Mahoning Valley Drive-In.
