June 1, 2014 - Pleasant Valley’s Ema Sabovic scores a goal to help the Lehigh Valley Conference/Mountain Valley Conference all-star team defeat the Colonial League squad 3-1 in the 33rd Annual Lions All-Star Soccer Classic at Whitehall’s Zephyr Sports Complex. Sabovic tallies in the 13th minute to open the game’s scoring. The winning team also receives a pair of goals from Amanda McCarthy of Emmaus. The Bears have three other players participating in the contest, including Dana McAllister, Gabrielle Lucchese and Victoria Weismeth. McAllisteris named a scholarship winner at the event for her community service contributions. Playing on the Colonial League team are Northwestern’s Trista Cunningham and Grace Baker and Caity Harris.
