The 50-member Cressona Band kicked off the annual Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce Summer Concert Series on Wednesday evening at the Tamaqua train station. Sponsored by Shafer Pharmacy, the band featured a selection of show tunes, barbershop songs, and popular holiday numbers such as the Armed Forces Salute.
