Summit Hill parade lineup announced

Plans are set for Summit Hill’s traditional Memorial Day parade that will step off at 11 a.m. Monday in the center of town.

The parade, which will be highlighted by Grand Marshal Lt. Col. (Ret.) John McFadden, a Summit Hill native, will march west on Ludlow Street, around St. Joseph Catholic Church, and to the cemetery complex at the eastern end of the community.

The parade lineup, announced by Chairman Thomas Vermillion, will be as follows:

First Division

Form on Ludlow Street, from Walnut to Market and Ludlow to Hazard streets: Summit Hill Police, Summit Hill American Legion Post 316, Lansford American Legion Post 123, Grand Marshal Lt. Col. (Ret.)
