The Bombers eventually load the bases, and Israel Messinger forces in the deciding run when he walks on a 3-2 count. Williams earns the win, allowing just three hits while striking out eight in a complete game effort. J.R. Simmons and Berger account for Palmerton’s other two runs with RBI hits.
