Northern Lehigh hires Fahler as new boys basketball coach

Northern Lehigh has announced the hiring of Robert Fahler Jr. as its new head boys basketball coach.

Fahler recently served as an assistant coach for the Parkland girls team. Formerly, he served as the head boys coach at Northampton, and an assistant boys coach at Parkland.

Fahler provides leadership experience as a recently retired principal of Colonial Middle School, in Plymouth Meeting.

He is a graduate of Parkland High School, where he was the starting point guard on the school’s first District 11 championship team. He also served as captain of the Parkland basketball and football teams.

Fahler has a B.S. in Mathematics from Muhlenberg College, where he lettered in football and baseball. He received his Masters Degree in school leadership from Marywood College.

Bob takes over for Patrick Wanamaker, who resigned in March.
