Walk-in art center to host coffee house cabaret

The Schuylkill Walk In Art Center’s “Coffee House Cabaret” nights have been a rousing success and the next installment will feature the artwork of visiting artist Helen Reinhold and WIAC studio artist Audrey Bordonaro with music from local piano man Terry Laughlin playing the hits of Elton John and Billy Joel.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. on May 5 for people to grab a beverage and view the Reinhold exhibition and check out the studio artists. Seating for the music will begin at 6:30 p.m.

In addition, there will be work by Reinhold on display, and artists will be on hand to chat in their studios.

“Visiting the Walk In Art Center should be an interactive experience,” said Jacquie Engel, Executive Director. “We have been building up our Artist Market area and people can walk through Studio Row and get ideas for gifts and décor. We hope people leave inspired.”

Tickets are available at walkinartcenter.org. The Coffee House Cabaret series is sponsored by the Zwerling Trust.
