Caleb Calarco and Adam Knoblauch open the third with back-to-back homers to turn a one-run deficit into a lead. Knoblauch finishes the contest with three hits, two RBIs and three runs, while Calarco ends with a pair of hits, two RBIs and a couple runs scored. The winners, coached by Ron Calarco, also receive two hits and two RBIs from Mike Runk. Chris Wehr and Steve Seledones both contribute two-run doubles.
